Refund policy

1. Your Right of Withdrawal
Under EU consumer protection law (the Consumer Rights Directive, and in Sweden: lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler; in Denmark: forbrugeraftaleloven), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 30 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), receives the goods.

3. Returning the Goods
3.1 Return shipping
You are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. This applies to all returns regardless of your location.

3.2 Condition of returned goods

• Unused and in the same condition as when you received them
• In the original packaging, including any protective case, cloth, and tags
• Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
3.3 Diminished value
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. This means you may try on the sunglasses, but if they show signs of wear, scratches, or damage beyond normal inspection, we may reduce the refund accordingly.
4. Defective or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged during shipping, or not what you ordered, please contact us at hello@goodshades.com within 30 days of receiving the item. In such cases:
• We will cover the return shipping costs.
• You are entitled to a full refund or a replacement, at your choice.
• Under Swedish consumer law (konsumentköplagen), you have the right to claim against defects that appear within three years of purchase.
Please include photos of the defect or damage when contacting us to help us process your claim quickly.
5. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different model or colour, please return the original item following the process above and place a new order.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
• Gift cards
• Products that have been personalised or custom-engraved (if applicable in the future)
• Products that show clear signs of use, damage, or wear beyond normal inspection
7. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund is approved.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 30 days of us receiving the returned goods. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.
If you paid via Klarna, the refund will be processed through Klarna and any outstanding payment plan will be adjusted accordingly.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the timeframe stated above, please:
• Check your bank account or credit card statement again.
• Contact your bank or payment provider, as processing times may vary.
